Healthy Habits

You've been to a class or two and liked the vibe, but then life happened and you're not sure if it's for you? Or has life has just been so busy and constant that you don't know how to get back to those fitness goals you had going on?

It's been a big year, for those we've missed in recent weeks or months, we hope to see you again! If you're wanting to boost your fitness, get back on track, or experience greater benefits from Pilates we'd love to help. Here are some great tips for turning your Pilates passion into a healthy habit:

  1. Start small: one class per week and keep that happening, then work your way to two, or three, or whatever your goal is. Consistency is the key.
  2. Set a specific goal: balance, stability, stronger core, stronger knees, toned arms and better coordination are popular ones. Join our monthly challenge and work with us to keep you motivated.
  3. Create a plan: plan to move, book in early, make a commitment to yourself!
  4. Make it fun so you want to repeat: leave that to us - we add tunes, cues, crew and views - buy a fabulous pair of tights and enjoy!
  5. Be flexible: if you plan to move and your normal time isn’t an option this week - come at a different time. We have 12 classes each week and our members get unlimited bookings.
  6. Find the right kind of social support: our regulars are amazing humans - normal, fun, friendly and supportive, #squadgoals for sure!

Our studio is relaxed and we are all about making it fun, achievable and supporting where you're at now. We welcome all feedback and are always looking for ways to improve, to better serve our clients, and to offer classes at times that work for most schedules - please get in touch if you want to come along, come back, or for any other feedback.
